The Food Project is my ongoing struggle to cook more and better. Tonight’s edition features meatloaf as the humble, simple and delicious main course. Sides are mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli.

The meatloaf recipe is my experimentally modified version of the Betty Crocker classic.
-two pounds ground beef
-two medium onions chopped fine
-one cup store bought Italian breadcrumbs
-two eggs
-three quarters of a cup homemade tomato sauce canned last summer
-two tbls Worcester sauce
-one tsp celery salt
-one tsp pepper
-one tsp ground mustard

Mix with your hands, slap in a loaf pan and cook for 45 min at 350 deg. Oh, and remember to let it cool a bit before serving or it will fall apart like mine did.
